We undertook a major renovation of an old brick bungalow on a narrow, sloping block of land in the inner west. This was a fairly demanding and complicated project but from the outset Charlie approached it with a professional and enthusiastic attitude. He collaborated well with our architect, always returned our many inquiries and was able to trouble shoot many of the structural issues that presented itself during construction. The result was a family home that stands proudly overlooking the bay and a building that Micrah and ourselves can rightly be proud of.

We have undertaken a number of renovations in the past, but this latest project was by far the largest & most demanding of which we did not fully appreciate until construction commenced.

One of the biggest contributors to our successful renovation was that Charlie, a director of Micrah was the full time hands on supervisor of our project and demanded a high standard from his staff and the sub contractors he engaged. His attention to detail and attitude that nothing was too much trouble made dealing with the typical day to day building issues very easy and relatively stress free.

Charlie was very approachable and we valued his opinion when working to resolve any issues we had during construction and being the director of the company he was able to make immediate decisions with our consultation on any solutions. This personal approach not only assisted the building timetable but enabled us to have a full appreciation and input into the building process and agreement on any cost variations.

Our place looks great and we just love our kitchen and family room. The overall finish is a much higher standard than that of friends who recently undertook a similar renovation (with a different builder) and the whole place flows beautifully.

We were so thrilled with the renovations done on our home in Leichhardt, it was a no brainer that Charlie and Najib would build our next house. After all they did win the Master Builders Award for the first renovation. Their efficiency, professionalism and well mannered nature made the process seamless. Of course there were the usual obstacles that arise when building a house, however everything was dealt with by Charlie and Najib in an easygoing, yet exact fashion.
